Biography

David did his undergraduate work in chemistry at Point Loma Nazarene University and graduate research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign focusing on organic chemistry, self assembly, and nanotechnology. He also taught chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Colorado before transitioning into instructional design and digital publishing. Over a stretch of seven years as a contractor, he contributed to numerous K-12 and undergraduate-level textbooks and digital media assets across a variety of scientific disciplines. During this time, he also served as a medical copyeditor for the cancer education group, Research To Practice, and authored Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory Manual (Elsevier, 2011).
