Josephine graduated with a BA in English and Comparative Literature from San Jose State University. In the non-profit sector, she has worked as a Case Manager with both adult and adolescent clients at Asian American Recovery Services, a substance abuse treatment agency. It was during her time here that she helped coordinate a girls’ leadership conference for over 300 attendees. In the corporate sector, she has provided comprehensive administrative support to top-ranking sales executives at first Bowne and then R.R. Donnelley. Josephine has volunteered and interned at Vision Literacy, Hands of Hope, and Public Allies (an Americorps organization) and other organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking in gorgeous vistas of nature, exploring new places to eat and ballroom dancing, namely salsa and blues.
