Congratulations on the founding- it’s good to see the establishment of an institution that is in synch with the times.

Congratulations:
It has been a nice surprise to know about the oppening of SU, but even most surprising is that I knew that in a latinoamerican country and in a local TV news program. Probably for most people here this was the very first time that they listened something about this thing called Singularity, and this is a good thing by its own.
The only thing that I could regret from the project is its exclusive focus in technology and maybe a bit of economics. Given that by definition a Singularity is highly unpredictable in its behaivor any effort to foresee it, and lead it, should have the most broad paradigms and lines of research. In that sense is that I miss an approach from the Education, like a critical link into take to the main public the issues of Singularity and in their time, to help them to get into it.
Greetings.
