VP of Operations, Singularity University

Susan Fonseca-Klein has a J.D./B.A. and is charged with overseeing the internal corporate and legal management for Singularity University (SU), as well as production of SU’s first Graduate Studies Program (GSP-09). Susan also serves as SU Liaison to NASA and key SU partners.

Susan together with Bruce Klein, organized the Founding Meeting (Sept-08) where they were entrusted to lead the effort to structure and launch the University. As such Susan and Bruce are considered Founding Architects of SU.

Prior to joining SU, Susan led the creation of a new International Division in Washington D.C. focused on global trade and diplomacy between U.S. and Central America. Part of the challenge included key strategic negotiations between Central American Presidents, senior Latin-American Executives, the U.S. Congress and U.S. Trade Representatives.

Susan has produced technical and scientific conferences including the Life Extension Conference (2005), the Singularity Summits (2007 & 2008), the Aging Conference (2008) and Convergence08.

Susan has 10+ years of experience fostering global understanding, outreach and international collaboration. Current projects include leveraging key technologies to address today’s greatest humanitarian challenges.
