Executive Programs
The Exponential Technologies Executive Program educates, informs, and prepares executives to recognize the opportunities and disruptive influences of exponentially growing technologies and understand how these fields affect your future, your company, and your industry.
The Executive Program offers a unique over-the-horizon radar for decision-makers, strategists, CEOs, CTOs, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and government leaders — anyone thinking about their company and their industry. Attending the program provides an understanding of how accelerating technologies will transform your business by showing you what is in the lab today and where the technologies will be within the next 3 to 10 years.
Program Types
Singularity University offers three different Executive Programs:
EXECUTIVE 9-DAY
- Intimate class sizes to engage fully with faculty and other world-class technologists and speakers.
- Deep dive into our six technology tracks through seminars, workshops, site visits, and networking events.
- Program Fee is all-inclusive, including accommodations, meals and after-hours activities provided on the NASA Ames campus or nearby facilities.
EXECUTIVE 4-DAY
- Explore exponential technologies with faculty and other world-class technologists and speakers through seminars and networking events.
- Program Fee includes meals and activities provided on the NASA Ames campus or nearby facilities. Accommodations are not included for the 4-day program, but can be provided for an additional charge.
EXECUTIVE CUSTOM
- Work with Singularity University staff and faculty to customize an Executive Course for your group or company.
- Tailor the course specifically to your industry or grand challenge.
- Singularity University can work with a wide range of class size, locations, and course lengths to best suit your needs.

The Executive Program concentrates on six exponential technologies:

Participants Learn
- Top-level Critical Concepts: The core concepts that let you understand the biggest ideas in exponential technologies. You’ll be able to recognize exponential trends and multidisciplinary breakthroughs in news and industry reports.
- Key Projected Breakthroughs: What are the top ten projected breakthroughs that executives should be watching out for in the next decade? What are their implications and leading indicators?
- Metrics: How do you monitor Progress in these technology fields?
- Legal/Regulatory/Ethical Implications: What legal and regulatory environments affect these exponentially changing fields? Do current structures account for future changes? What are the biggest issues that are likely to be faced in the next decade?
- Leading Researchers and Companies: Who are the key thinkers and companies in these fields that you must know about?
- Industrial Implications: How will projected breakthroughs affect specific industries within the next three to ten years?
Workshops

Site Visits
Executive participants will visit companies and research facilities that epitomize Silicon Valley and applied exponential technologies. Potential site visits include: IBM Almaden, Autodesk, Halcyon Molecular, 23andMe, Google, Nanosolar, real-time brain-scanning facilities, and NASA’s simulation and visualization facilities and research labs.
Industries Group Workshop
The last part of the program is dedicated to discussions between excutives, faculty, and staff on the subjects of:
- “How will these Exponential Technologies affect your industry in the next three to ten years?”
- “How does this affect your current and future planning?”
Executive participants will work in small teams to research how exponential technologies will affect their specific industry sectors, with feedback from discussions with faculty, staff, and other participants.

If you would like to attend an Executive Program with your team, we are now offering the following group discounts (Subject to availability):
- 10% discount for groups of 3-5 participants
- 15% discount for groups of 6 or more participants
Location & Facilities
The 9-day Executive Program is held at Singularity University’s facilities at the NASA Ames Research Park in Mountain View, California — in the heart of Silicon Valley. Participants are housed at the NASA Lodge within the NASA Ames Research Park and all meals and transportation are provided during the program.
