The Executive Program will concentrate on six exponential technologies:

Site Visits

Executive participants will visit companies and research facilities that epitomize Silicon Valley and applied exponential technologies. Potential site visits include: IBM Almaden, Autodesk, Halcyon Molecular, 23andMe, Google, Nano-solar, Real-time brain scanning, and NASA’s simulation and visualization facilities and research labs.

Industries Group Workshop

The last part of the program is dedicated to discussions between executives, faculty, and staff on the subject of:

  • “How will these Exponential Technologies affect your industry in the next three to ten years?”
  • “How does this affect your current and future planning?”

Executive participants will work in small teams to research how exponential technologies will affect their specific industry sectors, with feedback from discussions with faculty, staff, and other participants.

Location & Facilities

The 10-day SU Executive Program is held in SU facilities at NASA Ames in Mountain View, California–in the heart of Silicon Valley. Participants are housed at the NASA Lodge within the NASA Research Park, and meals will be catered during the program.
