GSP-09 Student, Singularity University

I got interested in hacking computers when I got a used Atari 800 (this was about 1988). You can program in BASIC and store them on audio cassettes. It seems like such a long time ago.

After getting my masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, I co-founded a dot-com company for streaming music. I sold the company at the height of the bubble.

After that, I travelled around Europe and Asia for 9 months until I could no longer resist my entrepreneurial itch and started a technology consulting company. I have been mostly involved in startups until I had an oppurtunity in 2007 to work for Amazon.com.

Currently I am working on a search idea related to search result visualization.
